As one of the five main board members for Price Bailey, Charles takes practice wide responsibility for Tax Services and Finance. Charles and his tax team work closely with all of the business units, but especially with the corporate finance team who specialise in buying and selling businesses. This tends to lead to the need for fairly complex tax planning.

In the last ten years, he has taken overall responsibility for the technical aspects of the firm’s tax services to clients, and in this role has transformed the quality at Price Bailey during a period of extensive regulatory change. This was achieved mainly by bringing together the specialist skills available from within the firm and delivering them as one package to clients, usually through the client service partner and manager.
